Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to enhancing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies through an engagement using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils while in the training sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
